A photo of a random little boy that was a bit surprised to see a Chinese-looking/American-speaking guy with a big camera in his tiny little Indian village. I stopped in the village for a short 2 hour visit to a micro-lending program and took only about 4 photos, this was one of them. Just outside Pune, India.

I was visiting with a family in this village and after lunch wandered out into the alley behind the house to take some photographs. Being a foreigner who looks Chinese, but doesn't speak it AND carrying a camera AND a stuffed cow, made me quite an attraction for the kids, who overcame their shyness once the cow came out. I don't speak Chinese and the kids spoke only a little English, but we understood each other just fine.
